Management, Customer Services, Sales &amp amp amp Admin (progressing to a management role) (Bolton)

A position has arisen within an internationally acclaimed furniture importer and retailer. We are a small yet fast growing company and as a result of this the work environment can often be incredibly busy requiring you to be efficient at juggling your workload and recognizing the tasks on which your focus must be based. Throughout our peak season there will often be multiple members of staff handling phone calls at once the successful candidate must be willing to jump in and lend a hand and be prepared for what can sometimes be a raucous working environment. The ideal candidate will have completed studies worked in Business Management or other related topic and have natural flare and interest in the proceedings of business. Key skills required The ability to remain cool headed and thrive in a busy work environment. To possess business acumen and a professional attitude towards progressing to a management level. Excellent communication and customer service skills (handling customer enquiries over the phone will initially be a key part of the job role. Proficient in the use of computers. To be confident when performing data entry tasks and diligent so as to be precise with your entries. To have a comprehensible and professional writing style as written communication with both customers and colleagues is often required. To be able to interact with customers confidently and unambiguously face to face. Be flexible and willing to approach a variety of tasks with keenness and competence. The job is effectively half way between a customer service sales and admin and an assistant management role with the view to develop the successful applicant in to a manager of the business. Normal working hours are 8.30am 5.45pm Mon-Fri and you will also be required to work every second Saturday from 10am 2pm during the spring and summer months. This is a full-time role of 48 hours per week 18K per annum starting with two six month pay reviews in the first year. We are situated a 3 minute walk from Bolton town centre and train station which is just a 20minute journey from the central Manchester stations.
