We have had a great 10months of fundraising. November 2010 saw the launch of the of the first in-house street fundraising team in London for British Red Cross. We then watched it grow and expand to Glasgow! It has done so well, we are now keen to continuing expanding the operation to Manchester but to do this we need a brilliant street fundraising team leader with experience of street fundraising. It is a great opportunity to join a growing operation and be a key member of the team. British Red Cross are one of the worlds best known humanitarian organisations. Their hard work and passion helps people in areas hit by natural disaster such as the recent flooding in Pakistan, earthquake in Haiti and ongoing crisis in Darfur. They have fantastic programmes around First Aid, Health and Social Care and Refugee Services. Depending on your street fundraising experience you will be paid between £8.50 and £11 per hour and for fundraisers pay starts at £7.50 p/h. If you prove yourself there is the opportunity to go to their office in Geneva and also get involved in some of their work and volunteering opportunities.
